Happy Apples Shipping Information

  1. We ship Happy Apples via UPS Ground service. UPS guarantees delivery 2-6 business days from Washington, MO 63090 (Maps shown below). The stated 2-6 business day delivery time does not include the amount of time needed to process and produce the order. Per UPS's Terms and Conditions of Ground Service:

    "The guarantee does not apply to shipments which are delayed due to causes beyond UPS’s control including, but not limited to, the following: The unavailability or refusal of a person to accept delivery of the shipment, acts of God, public authorities acting with actual or apparent authority on the premises, riots, strikes or other labor disputes, civil commotions, disruptions in air or ground transportation networks, such as weather phenomena, and natural disasters.

    UPS reserves the right to refuse any request for a credit or refund when such request is either (a) made by, or (b) based on information obtained by, a party other than the payer of the shipping charges.

    The guarantee does not apply to shipments that are scheduled to be delivered between December 12 and December 25.

  2. When placing orders for weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, or other special event, please note that the order should be placed at least eight business days prior to the scheduled event for the product to arrive on time. Please include the event date in the Shipping Instructions section of the Shopping Cart. If your event is less than eight business days away, we may be able to accommodate your order depending on certain factors but Happy Apples is not responsible for product that does not arrive on time.
  3. Orders for Happy Apples are received during our business hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Central Time. Orders placed outside these times will be process the following business day with orders over the weekend being process on Monday.
  4. Return Policy. Caramel apples are very perishable and are relatively difficult and expensive to ship. As a result, it is not our policy to cover the costs to return defective product. Should quality issues arise requiring a discount or refund, we ask that you submit via email digital photos of the product affected as well as pictures of the total product received if possible. After review of the photos and evaluating any defect arising from manufacturing, we will issue an appropriate refund and the affected product may be discarded
  5. We do not specify that a signature is required for receipt unless you request it (but we don’t recommend it. Caramel Apples will do better on your doorstep for a short time rather than a shipping warehouse overnight). If you are not home during the day and expect early UPS deliveries, we recommend using a work or neighbor’s address for shipping if possible.
  6. Should circumstances outside of our direct control cause an order to be late or missed including but not limited to inclement weather, carrier errors or damage or website glitches, we will do our best to expedite the order but are not responsible for shipping costs beyond regular UPS ground.
  7. Happy Apples caramel apples ship to all 48 continental states, however UPS requires a physical address (no PO Boxes) and unfortunately, UPS cannot ship to Military addresses.
  8. If an address correction fee is charged by UPS, the fee (typically $10.00 per case) will be charged to the credit card information provided.

Attention All Customers: Your credit card will be charged at the time the order is placed. If an event date is listed in the Order Notes section of the shopping cart, the order will be shipped according to that date. If no date is listed, the order will be shipped within 5 business days.
